MY MISSION

My mission is to wake people up into consciousness which includes teaching them how to be 100% responsible for whatever shows up in their life. This is a simple statement but trust me when I tell you it takes practice. Once you grasp this concept you will realize that being responsible or ‘at cause’ for everything in your life is very empowering. If you alone are responsible for everything in your life, it follows that you alone have the power to change what does not serve you or bring you peace.

MY VISION

My vision is to have a client come to me when they are struggling and for me to assist them to get through a rough time in their life. And when they’re ready I want them to leave with the tools they need to navigate life’s ups and downs going forward.

MY PROMISE

Once we have worked together you will leave with a new perspective on your role in your own life and my wish for you is that I will ‘bump your boat’ and your life will never be quite the same again. Here is a story to demonstrate what I mean:

The parable of “The Empty Boat” by Chuang Tzu

A monk decides to meditate alone, away from his monastery. He takes his boat out to the middle of the lake, moors it there, closes his eyes, and begins his meditation. After a few hours of undisturbed silence, he suddenly feels the bump of another boat colliding with his own.

With his eyes still closed, he senses his anger rising, and by the time he opens his eyes, he is ready to scream at the boatman who dared disturb his meditation. But when he opens his eyes, he sees it’s an empty boat that had probably got untethered and floated to the middle of the lake.

At that moment, the monk achieves self-realization, and understands that the anger is within him; it merely needs the bump of an external object to provoke it out of him.

From then on, whenever he comes across someone who irritates him or provokes him to anger, he reminds himself, “The other person is merely an ‘Empty boat’. The anger is within me.”
